SOSVOX needs you... A grant to create free veterinary hospitals and shelters for stray animals

Addressed to: Parliament of Uruguay
This request is for the Uruguayan State, to create several hospitals and shelters for all stray animals. Land and volunteers will surely be easy to get, but not the money. With only 10 pesos per month per inhabitant we sure we can.
We need to do something with stray animals, their number is increasing, and killing them is not the solution. We need places where they can castrate and cure them, and give them up for adoption. That's why we need Veterinary Hospitals with shelters.
The animals will be rescued, treated and sterilized, then sent to shelters them to give them up for adoption. El Shelter and the Veterinary Hospital could be build in the same place, which would facilitate them to work together.
We need the Government to use the necessary means to raise the money, either through subsidies or fines to be charged to people who mistreat animals.
Together we can get the animals off the street!
