Feeders for dogs on the streets

Addressed to: Municipality of Montevideo and 1 more

Feeders in accessible streets for stray dogs would be a way to help these animals and also for those dogs that are from responsible indigents, because they want both their dogs and their dogs want them but cannot feed them because of their situation. Feeders avoid the death of dogs from malnutrition, facilitating the help of rescuers; have more time to find homes (many people cannot catch stray dogs for different reasons, this does not mean they do not seek them a home) or shelter (today the population of animals makes shelters will not be overwhelmed, not it is so easy to find one available) for these reasons it is so difficult to take the dogs from the streets.

In countries like Mexico or Colombia already exist, they are called ComeDog, all thanks to the efforts of activists and animal lovers. The creator of this beautiful project is Juan Manuel Montoya Pardo and thanks to him the initiative is expanding across America.

This project will not only feed the stray dogs, but sterilization campaigns are also conducted for the "guests" of ComeDog and promotes adoptions. We need to sensitize residents to realize the importance of responsible ownership to prevent further abandonments.
