In Latin America the animals must be protected, we need Laws with strong penalties for offenders

Here in Uruguay people kill dogs all the time, and many horses are abused in the street.

Recently there was a case that some people killed two dogs and wanted to sell the meat like they were lambs. Was also recently a massacre of dogs because of the Leishmaniasis, they said they had to sacrifice all contaminated dogs because they can contaminate humans, and I know that is impossible. I adopt a boxer with this disease and it was with us for 5 years until we had to let her go because the poor thing suffered too much. But we did not catch this disease, anyway, we were happy with her and she with us.

I do not think these people end up going to jail, here the Law is not very hard for these people. That's why we need our leaders to take charge of this problem and find a solution. Tougher Laws with penalties of imprisonment and fines for abusers and murderers of animals, this should be done by Law throughout Latin America, the Organization of American States has the power to fight as a united bloc against the  animal genocide.
