Given the difficulties that Venezuela is experiencing, confined animals (Prisoners) have begun to die of starvation in the various zoos of the country before the impassive eyes of the authorities responsible for their care, with the aggravation of denying in all cases the deplorable condition of the same.
RUPERTA is an African elephant that have spent the last forty years in that presidio that is called Zoo of Caricuao in Caracas, Venezuela. Let us ask the authorities not to reject the humanitarian aid that different people and organizations are making to the doors of the zoo and at the same time, to manage the transfer of RUPERTA to an animal sanctuary, along with the rest of the animals that languish currently in the zoo.
