Because animals suffer and are the most vulnerable of the system, we who love animals feel powerless.
We still expect to begin to go to jail people who kill animals, or pay higher fines, as 300 Euros fine for this crime is ridiculous. We know that Animal Protection Laws are inadequate and ineffective, which is why we propose a new set of Laws that severely punish animal abuse in all its forms. And to top each region has its own Laws, some newer, and some really old, so should unite in a National, final and categorical Law, to replace all these Laws in order to unify criteria.
Abandonment and killing of animals, dogfighting and cockfighting, clandestine greyhound racing, and many other crimes committed against animals and are not punished, or punished very slightly, with small fines not make a dent in anyone's pocket .
No more animal abuse with tougher Laws, also we must unify criteria into a single National Law Against Animal Cruelty.
