The zoo is just another form of mistreating animals. The animals are confined in small cages, eating badly, being mistreated by visitors, with much stress from the noise produced by people. Much cruelty is established as a way of life for many species.
The Government of the State of Rio de Janeiro raises millions at the expense of the exploitation of the animals, and we can not allow this anymore.
