Because stray animals, whether cats or dogs, deserve to live in shelters and not in Rabies Control Centers where they are exterminated. They are not to blame for being born on the street, that is our fault, for allowing people to abandon them and for no one to take care of them.
In the Antirabics Centers of the whole country the dogs are cruelly assassinated. The animals suffer from a miserable stay and a cruel and inhuman death, as they are electrocuted, causing them to pass through the body for 45 seconds, until they are killed. It is important to emphasize that some animals require more than one discharge in order to be able to die, and that each and every one of them waits impotent their turn, while they witness all the horror of those who precede them.
We need free and mandatory sterilizations at Free Veterinary Centers, for all stray animals and for pets. We must have Laws as in the countries of the first world, in which every living being has the right to a roof, food and good dealings.
We must punish animal abusers as well as irresponsible owners who do not give their pets quality of life.
