The animal protection organization One Voice denounced how they pluck the fur to angora rabbit while they are alive in angora farms. From birth, the animals are subjected to terrible conditions inside a tiny cage. Every three months have to endure this torture for the textile industry transform its soft fur into angora wool. Holding the terrified animals and immobilized on a table while they pluck strands of hair from her sensitive skin, which often provoked tears and bleeding. The cries of pain of the distressed animals are almost unbearable.
Ninety percent of angora wool comes from China, where there is little protection for animals. But in French angora farms, animals suffer similar tortures that are shown in this video. Through this petition, the animal protection organization One Voice seeks to persuade the Minister of Agriculture of France to ban this brutal practice in the country.
