The Mayor of Porto Alegre, State of RS, is determined to sacrifice 300 dogs, which were collected from their homes by health surveillance of Porto Alegre, with an alleged diagnosis of visceral leishmaniasis unconfirmed.
We want the opportunity for these animals to undergo tests and if necessary for a treatment, which exists!
In public hearings, the popular voice has been ignored, and Mayor Nelson Marchezan is determined to bring to death these 300 dogs that had family, name and a heart!
