These angels are exposed to many dangers on the street as bad people abuse, diseases, lack of food and water, lack of love and protection, etc. They deserve a second chance in life, know the warmth, attention and love in a home.
In Venezuela stray animals proliferate because the lack of public policies such as sterilization, that should be free, for the animals of people with economic problems and for all stray animals and veterinary care and shelters where they are protected until they are given up for adoption.
In Venezuela there are more than three million stray dogs and cats, imagine that number? Three million angels who roam the streets suffering without any care. Luckily we have many associations that help them, but only make their lives kinder on the street, not away from it, and if we add the price of the dog and cat food that is very expensive, they cannot continue feeding as they should.
That is why the Government of Venezuela has a moral obligation to solve this problem. They must do massive free sterilization campaigns for all strays and create shelters where they can take care for them, and give them up for adoption, where they can live a good life.
Let us not allow more abuse of these angels!
