Since June 2021, the Federation of Friends of the Animals of Morocco has written to local groups to obtain permission to transport, number and distribute reserve animals (donkeys) to village farmers for exploitation.

The correspondence indicated that, in accordance with its priorities and its efforts to end the use of trailers in order to preserve the aesthetics of cities and keep up with national development projects, our federation preferred, in accordance with its program and their objectives, as well as to help you take this important step by working to preserve and enjoy the lives of these animals, numbering them and distributing them to the Badia farmers so that they can take care of them and benefit from them. in the usual agricultural activities and as means of transportation for their needs.

And the same correspondence adds, regarding the consideration of the Federation of animal friends in the conditions in which these animals live after the recent visits it has made to the reserve, where material has been provided to feed and care for them and the associated maintenance.

But so far, the request of the Federal Assembly has not been heeded due to the extradition procedure that must go through a joint commission of the State, the Pasha and the community, and the detained donkeys continue to die in silence and their condition deteriorates, living in the conditions of municipal detention that is not protected and held hostage to the aid of benefactors.
