With some coordination it is possible to solve the problem of abandoned animals. In Palmela, Coina, Moita, Baixa da Banheira, there are huge groups of abandoned animals and those in charge of the parishes and the municipal chambers do nothing.
We see them go hungry, ill-treated, beaten or run over by cars, fight each other for the little food they can get. We see them being born, growing and dying in the streets without anyone doing anything except some people with a good heart. But those responsible do nothing, those who must generate policies so that the animals are not on the street are not responsible for them.
There is money in the City Chambers to solve the problems, it only lacks the will and the effort to make this problem a high priority.
