"Lexi", a Siberian Husky was killed by a villager in Carnbee, Tobago, Trinidad & Tobago. Lexi crawled out of her fenced yard through a hole under the fence while the owners were not at home. Lexi was hit with a pellet gun, a rope was placed around her neck. And she was killed by blows to the head with a shovel. She was later dragged to the street, where she was left to die. An autopsy determined Lexi died as a result of blunt forced trauma to the head.

The perpetrator of this crime has been arrested and is out on bail. His case will be heard in the public court in just a few weeks. If the island of Tobago is serious about tourism, a strong example must be made to the perpetrator of this heinous act.
